Rising Star for Safety - Cynthia Avalos
Cynthia is being recognized as a Rising Star for her immediate and selfless response to an onsite injury. After hearing the commotion, she quickly left her work area to assess the situation and became the first person to assist the injured employee. She remained actively involved throughout the response, providing continuous translation support for the injured worker, who only spoke Spanish, ensuring clear communication between our team and the injured worker. Her quick thinking, initiative, and willingness to step in during a critical moment exemplify going above and beyond to support both safety and her fellow workers.
