Membership Assistance Program

Substance abuse and suicide are taking a toll on the construction industry.  You are not alone if you or a family member is suffering.  DC 14 is committed to assisting members and their family deal with home and/or workplace challenges that may disrupt your everyday life.

The Membership Assistance Program (MAP) offers counseling services designed to help you and your family deal with a variety of life situations such as but not limited to:

  • alcohol and drug use
  • suicide prevention
  • stress, depression, anxiety
  • emotional challenges
  • marital and family issues
  • divorce and separation difficulties
  • grief, trauma, death of a loved one
  • job related stress
  • LGBTQ issues

MAP services include access to a licensed mental health professional over the phone or in person as well as online access to other resources and information (work life website).

There is NO cost to the members. Through MAP, you and your family members can receive up to 5 CONFIDENTIAL sessions per incident/issue with a counselor.
