The Trustees of the Chicago Painters and Decorators Pension Fund (the “Plan”) wish to inform you of a recent change that was made to the Plan and an upcoming bonus pension payment. The remainder of this Summary of Material Modifications (“SMM”) explains these changes. Please keep this SMM with your Summary Plan Description (“SPD”) and other important Plan documents, as it represents an amendment to the SPD.
A secret ballot election for the offices of Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer, 7 (seven) Business Representatives representing Painter Locals 33, 147, 184, 191, 194, 265, 273, 275, 521, 863, and 1332, 1 (one) Business Representative from Glaziers Local 27, and 1 (one) Business Representative from Sign & Display Local 830 will be conducted by District Council No. 14 at the date, time, and place indicated below.

After hearing the commotion, she quickly left her work area to assess the situation and became the first person to assist the injured employee. She remained actively involved throughout the response, providing continuous translation support for the injured worker, who only spoke Spanish, ensuring clear communication between our team and the injured worker. Her quick thinking, initiative, and willingness to step in during a critical moment exemplify going above and beyond to support both safety and her fellow workers.
