A secret ballot election for the offices of Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer, 7 (seven) Business Representatives representing Painter Locals 33, 147, 184, 191, 194, 265, 273, 275, 521, 863, and 1332, 1 (one) Business Representative from Glaziers Local 27, and 1 (one) Business Representative from Sign & Display Local 830 will be conducted by District Council No. 14 at the date, time, and place indicated below.
Please be advised that, pursuant to Sections 29(e) of the IUPAT Constitution, the individual elected to the office of Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer shall automatically be a Delegate to any Regular or Special Convention held during his or her term of office. The term of office will be four years beginning on the date of the election.
Only members in good standing, including life members, will be eligible to vote. “Membership in Good Standing” is defined in Sections 117 through 119 in the IUPAT Constitution. Under Section 92(b), members who are contractors or employers within the meaning of Section 91 are not eligible to vote. Members will be asked to present a membership card, dues receipt, driver’s license or some other form of identification at the polls.
